The Secrets of the Hair Industry, What affects hair pricing?- Bundle Hair

Beauty Krew offers a wide variety of human hair extenstions and bundles at many different price points.
But what is the difference in the hair that allows consumers to purchase at different price points.

The hair industry can be a tricky one, since it is not regulated and many companies try to extend their profit rather than look for the interest of the consumer. We are your KREW, so you know we got your back! with the TRUTH!!

These are 3 factors below that cause the prices of bundle to hair to vary.

      Facotr 1: Materials used

The materials that are used in the specific bundle will great affect the cost of the hair.
-Raw hair is completely unprocessed, comes from only one single donor. All the cuticles are 100% alligned, as if it were growing out of your scalp naturally. This Raw Unprocessed hair can be bleached to the lightest blonde of 613 or can be dyed to any color of the users choice, with proper treatment this hair can be used and reused for up to 3 years!
-Mink Virgin Hair is usually hair that can be combined from up to 4 donors. Since the donors are different it is more difficult to get 100% cuticle allignment but gets very close, up to 95%. this material can be dyed up to 613 but because of the amount of donors the strands may react differently.
-100% human Hair can be made up of many different donors, with no limits on how many. It is very difficult to have all the cuticles allign and ususally require processing

      Factor 2: Weight

The amount of hair that is used will also play a huge factor in the final cost of the bundles.
Many bundles are 100 grams of hair, but some use 90 to 95 grams to price the hair more aggressively.

All the bundles, regardless of length, are usually 100 grams which is why the longer the hair the thinner the amount of wefts available to be used.
the longer the hair the more the weight is distributed. usually 3-100 gram bundles are perfect for a full head.

      Factor 3: Thickness

This is another factor that is about how much hair is used. Ever notice some virgin hair bundles are really thick on the top and then very thin on the bottom, this is done to cheaper hair.
the ratio of bundles is usually 80-90% long hair to give a nice full look and 10% short hair to give a natural thicker look closer to the scalp,
as natural hair would grow. In order to cut prices, some vendors or companies use 70% long hair and 30% short hair to cut the price.
this does not mean one hair is better quality then the other one, it just means one hair provides a more natural look once installed compared to the other.

Secrets of the Hair Industry, What affects hair pricing?- Pack Hair

Secrets of the Hair Industry, What affects hair pricing?- Pack Hair

Beauty Krew offers a wide variety of human hair extenstions and bundles at many different price points.
But what is the difference in the hair that allows consumers to purchase at different price points.

The hair industry can be a tricky one, since it is not regulated and many companies try to extend their profit rather than look for the interest of the consumer. We are your KREW, so you know we got your back! with the TRUTH!!

Many Pack Hairs say many different things and many claim to be top of the line, but why would one cost $10 and another $20.

The reason is quality. But what factors affect that quality.

The quality and price of hair is affected by these factors listed below.

The process in which it is wefted. the better the weft the more the hair will cost.
The ratio of the short hair to long hair. Ever notice that in all hairs including your natural hair that grows from your scalp, the ends of the hair are much thinner than the top.
Although this is done to achieve a more natural look, it also becomes cost effective. Companies play with the ratios by putting less long hair leading to a thinner, but cheaper pack..

The oldest trick in the book!

100% Human Hair Quality. If you see this statement on the pack hair you are about to purchase, be aware that  you are purchasing blend hair that can be compared to 100% human hair.
Many companies use this trick to make consumers think they are getting a great deal on human hair, but in actually, they are just  purchasing high grade blend human hair weaving..

We hope this information will help you in the hair world while shopping around here on Beauty Krew or any other beauty supply store.

Fuller Hair in Minutes!! *Very Detailed* Feat. Outre’s Big Beautiful Hair Clip-Ins | BeautyW Cat

Fuller Hair in Minutes!! *Very Detailed* Feat. Outre’s Big Beautiful Hair Clip-Ins | BeautyW Cat

“Hey y’all! I am here today to actually show you guys this new collection of Outre hair. Y'all know how much I love Outre! This is actually an interesting collection because this would be my first time on camera showing my real hair. So, this is kind of a therapeutic thing for me actually, so yeah.”

“I was extremely self-conscious of my hair and what it looked like on top of my head. There was one point in my life where even as an adult, I would not leave the house if my hair is not done. Black women are just so judged on their beauty standards and I feel like, as black women, we need to take that power back. That we need to really walk in our confidence.”

“So today, the set is from Outre and the collection is called Big Beautiful Hair and it has clip ins. So, more than likely, you can do a lot of versatile styles with this. Here are the actual hairs and there are nine pieces in there. I'll be able to give you a little bit of an insight if you do have my size shape head at least. But I'm actually really excited to put this on myself.”

“It's time to take down the braids! So before I take my braids down I'm going to actually coat these up with this oil. I got it from the beauty supply store. It has Biotin and Collagen in it… I don't be knowing, I just be getting any type of oil I’m going to get just a little pinch, and just put it all over my hair. So I’ve kind of mirrored the curls in this actual package of hair . So hopefully this is a hit and not a miss. I'm going to fast forward this part cause I know y'all don’t want to watch me take down my hair. I’ll be back!”

*Speeds through taking out her natural hair

“Now, this is in the color natural black. So the method that they have that you could possibly do is the protective method, or the braid less method.  This is what she looks like. You know clearly that's not my… I mean it is if I like comb it out. But you know, you see a little bit of curliness to her and you see curliness to mine a little bit because of the braids that I did.”

“Oh my god this is so pretty! She's really soft guys! I’m trying to see… Wow! She is a match to my hair though, like color wise! Like she's decent. I told you that there are nine pieces. so there are four pieces of three-inch Wefts. So clearly that was going to be in the front. And we have five inches we have seven (inches), we have eight (inches), we have ten (inches) and we have twelve (inches)! I’m going to be as visually as I can for you guys.”

“And please don’t lie, I am trying to do this as far as educational purposes. There are five clips on the twelve inch one. Please don’t mind y’all, I know my part is crooked but I’m just trying to show you all how this works.”

*Demonstrates how to place the twelve inch bundle as the bottom layer*

“So, I’m about the put the ten inch in, right about here. Actually, I could put it up here since this hair is going be stretched out and everything.”

*Demonstrates how to place the ten inch bundle*

“My hair under it was like poking it out so I don't want it to… eh, why not? Go big or go home!”

*Demonstrates how to create the third parting section for the next bundle*

“So, last but not least, I am going to use the three (inch). I'm going to do like, one and then two, three (points to where each bundle will go in her head.) Okay Outre! Y’all better make me fall in love with my hair pattern again! It’s like… lace front, what? Straight hair who?”

*Demonstrates how to place the 3 three inch bundle pieces*

“This is my hair y’all, this, is my hair!”

“First of all, can you put this in a ponytail?! Outre! For how long have you been growing out your hair? This morning I thought, no I am bald headed, this isn’t going to look cute…WHAT? But this y’all…listen, listen, listen. Girl! Oh my god! This is a game changer! Seriously, when you hear clip-ins, you think of blonde hair, you think of straight hair, you think of really sleek hair. And Outre, for you guys to cater to the natural hair girls, cause, you already do because your wigs are definitely good for protective styles. But for you introduce something like this in your hair brand line, because I'm pretty sure there are other natural hair brands that do have clip-ins that cater to natural hair girls. But I just want to, in my opinion, just shout out Outre for even doing something like this. This is a big game changer for your brand. Out of all the hair that I've ever reviewed on this channel and on my Instagram page, I'm in love with this. I've always just been so self-conscious about having my own natural hair out. Wow. Hats off to y'all Outre!”

“Thank you so much for tuning you guys. I truly appreciate you guys coming every single time just to watch my videos. For every interaction,  every comment and every like that appears on my page, I'm grateful for you guys for even watching me to see what I'm talking about.”
